Born in B'ham in 1953. Educated in Jeff Co and attended Jeff State. Earned a BA in Art from Berea College in KY. Makes demonstrations to school and church groups and has won several awards including Best in Clay, Boston Mills Art Fair, Ohio, 2005 

 

Designs mostly inspired by Native American and African works.

Sgraffito is technique that is used-a colored slip covers a leather-hard clay vessel and then the piece is incised with a design pattern.
